Well, one simple guess would be (just checking her bio), that her career was taking off and her time being spent on the show for such a low grade role just wasn't worth it. But you know, maybe I'm just being too logical about it, I'm sure there's a more convoluted reason someone can come up with.
Try checking TITANTV.COM. It gives a listing for everything in your area, whether you have local stations, cable, or satellite. I believe you can only get it on DVD. AMAZON.COM has it for sale. It is the best of Seasons 1 & 2.
If you have access to Canadian satellite TV (Bell ExpressVu or Starchoice) you can watch Relic Hunter every day. It is in fact shown in several time slots.
From what I recall, Relic Hunter was not doing too well after its second season. Lindy Booth's career was not taking off, but she almost certainly asked for a higher salary, figuring she should try to get the money before the series folded. The producers thought otherwise and let her go. The third season was the weakest of the three. Syndication is a tough business, especially when you have a show with so many partners, all complaining about the high show production budget.
I love this show, I used to watch it here and there years ago but I have recently gotten in to it more lately, if you get the channel -showcase action- it comes on Mon-Fri 8am-9am EST. And right after Highkander: The series comes on.
I would think playing a peripheral character only there to look stupid and be a blond stereotype thicko didn't look too good on her CV - way hotter with red hair anyway
Half Irish, Half German - hated by all. But at least I'm not Welsh
