I don't know why but thinking of this movie really makes me laugh. I saw the movie once and it was so good and really sad, but know it makes me laugh to think of the title. It prevents me from watching it again.

the title doesn't make me laugh, the title means something, that mitch visited his friend every tuesday as he always did.

i have just read the book and it made me laugh,too.it was a little bit sad,but the author tried to hard to impress us;and he was so american no talking about getting drunk or smoke a cigarette once in a while...It looks very artifficial.
