I caught the last half hour of this wonderful film and it affected me so much that I bought the book which I could not put down.

I watched this today. It is a 'good' movie in every sense of the word - not great - never set out to be great and will always have a limited audience. The acting of Lemmon and Azaria was impeccable. Lemmon makes 'good' movies better than most - and this is no exception.
shareI didn't like the movie. thought it was too sentimental, and besides...movies that make you want to kill yourself in the end are NOT good movies. I guess I can see why some people like this movie, and sure, it teaches some lessons, but over all it was just depressing. When they showed it in my health class, 90% of the girls were crying and all the guys were just sitting there looking slightly sick.

Tuesdays with Morrie is one movie that everybody has to see, you know, have some heart in themselves, either if they are selfish, horrible people. Its a lesson to all of us in life and its one fantastic movie I've ever seen in my life. jack lemmon is my favourite actor and he is an absolute legend.
shareThis movie is absolute crap. This Morrie guy is so obsessed with himself and his dying that it makes me want to well it makes me want to stop watching after 1/2 hour. Don't strain your DVD player.
