exactly abinizl. I think Mitch learned that Morrie was dying and he tried to make up all the lost times as he didn't see him for 17 years and he had to see him to make up the last times, turning into weeks to spend the last times with Morrie, as what I think.
shareIts about a mans journey, and learining about whats really important in life, love, and enjoying life..Mitch learned this lesson from the sickly Maury, who told Mitch to enjoy life and dont forget to lovve.

It's about a man learning to live with satisfaction and contentment from a man who's dying with satisfaction and contentment. Mitch has been a success, as our society defines success - so why is he so dissatisfied and unhappy? Morrie's death teaches him something about living. I really recommend the book - I don't agree with some of its observations, but then I don't have to. My mom is currently dying of the same disease that takes Morrie and so many others before and since. There's a great line that applies not just to the sufferer from ALS but the caregiver and everyone else who has to deal with life - "This disease is killing my body, but it can't kill my spirit. It will not kill my spirit..."
shareIt's about a guy, Mitch who sees his old college professor on tv and goes to visit him after hearing that he is dying. While spending every Tuesday with Morrie, he learns to live life and learn about a life not lived, to try and live without regrets. He helps out Morrie as he got sicker and decides that Morrie's story must be told because he lived a beautiful life. Well in the end, after the death of Morrie, Mitch had the courage to call his brother who he hadn't talk to for years. I've never watched this show but the book is pretty good. It'll make you cry and laugh. I'm not sure if they added the last part of the book in the show, but it's pretty hilarious what Mitch's brother said to him over the phone. Trust me the book will send you on a roller coaster of emotions.
