More Civilian Support Characters Were Needed

RE3 should have had more civilian characters, like Dario and R Kendo{RE2}.Claire is running all over the city doesn't see a soul.The park,diner,hospital,city hall,newspaper building,and shopping area and not one person. I didn't really care much for the umbrella mercanaries, thought they were boring/lazy characters. Regular people trying to escape the city like Claire would have been better{my opinion}. Ofcourse most if not all of these said characters would have to meet their demise in some wonderful cut scenes as the game progressed.

They tried this later with the Outbreak series, but those game SUCKED. I love RE, but I can't tell you how much I hated Outbreak 1&2

I agree that there was plenty of opportunity to add in more NPCs. Could have been civvies, cops, Umbrella mercs. But I guess the point was that by the point RE3 starts, 99% of the population have already been killed and transformed into zombies.
