The guy with the axe that Tony and Wolf had to guess his name. What fairytale was he from? Or was he a non fairytale made up for the movie.

The most obvious reference is to the woodsman in Little Red Riding Hood. That character, however, was a lot more sympathetic than this one.

The other reference, which gets directly mentioned by Tony, is Rumpelstiltskin.
