In the scenes with the mother (the queen), she looks a lot, LOT different than the queen.

Yes, she aged.

Yes, her hair is different.

Yes, she gained weight over time, but...

I think she looks TOO different. It bugs me. Does it bug you, too?

I noticed this myself. The actress just doesn't look like Diane Wiest. What I also noticed was that she has an American accent. What made her transform into a Brit?

(These are nitpicks, I loved the miniseries.)
