Best Acting? Fave characters?

I can't believe all everyone is talking about on this board is fanfiction and a sequel which will probably never happen! there are way more things to talk about.

1) Who do you think did the best acting in this?

2) Which major or minor characters stood out to you in this film?

For me -

1/2)I think the woman who acted as the queen was very good; nice sinister mood for most of the film, and when it came to some emotion at the end she was convincing.

The Hunter, of course, also good. These villains were pretty cardboard-y and predictable; but their cardboard nature was well acted (blame the writing for 2D villains). I think one reason we all like Wolf so much is because his character was entertaining, unpredictable (sometimes) and well-acted (plus, for the ladies, we love ogling Scott Cohen! ;) )

2) I also really liked the gypsy fortune teller woman. She really struck me. She was so ominous somehow even when we thought she was a friend. Also, when she says the spell for the hair, her tone was so dark and intense...gave me shivers!

Another fave of mine was Acorn the dwarf.

Oh! And as far as acting, the 3 troll children of the Troll King! they were so horribly annoying, but that takes acting to annoy us.

1. Definitely Kimberly Williams, she brought so much emotion and was very believable
2. I'd probably say Cinderella, because I loved Ann Margaret in Bye Bye Birdie

Favorite characters:

1. Tony Lewis (hilarious and likeable).

2. Virginia Lewis (Kimberly Williams was beautiful and hilarious at the same time, and I loved the development of her character, and that of her father as well).

3. Wolf (how can you not like this guy?)

4. The Hunstman (scary and badass; Hauer pulls it off amazingly).

5. Relish the Troll King (funny and serious all rolled into one).

5. The Queen (definitely a intimidating presence).

"Speak of the Devil, and He shall appear."

The Father is the best character by far i think. I love his hilarioys comments on the eccentricities of fairyntale characters: 'what is it with you people? Why can't you just say "a thousnaf gold pieces for the sword" ?' "What is the point of having an evil door?' Etc. I like the werewolf as well, he is very amusing too.
