A shame Rare work for Microsoft now

Is anybody else sad that Nintendo lost Rare to Microsoft? they made great games for Nintendso using Nintendo Characters (Donkey Kong Country, Star Fox), as well as their own loveable characters (Banjo-KAzooie, Conker, Perfect Dark).

Also, Rare had plans for Grabbed By The Ghoulies, Banjo-Threeie, and Donkey Kong Racing for the Gamecube, then Microsoft intervened.

Rare also bought out Silicon Nights, makes of the great gamecube game "Eternal Darkness".

Don't get me wrong, I love Microsoft, I have both an X-Box and a 360 and I love the Halo series, Fable, and other X-Box only titles, but they first monopolized the computer business, now theey're buying 3rd party from other companies.

I heard rumors, most likely fake, that Nintendo is making deals with Microsoft to get back what is theirs...

Well hopefully Microsoft tells Rare to Make a remake of Goldeneye :P

Rare would have to acquire the rights to the James Bond license again. Easier said than done, seeing as some other company now has the rights.

Rare hasn't been the same since they left Nintendo, probably because they lost a good portion of their staff. Personally I think Rare is past its prime, but that's just me.

I wouldn't say that. Their original games "Grabbed by the Ghoulies" and "Kameo" were rather enoyable, but their sequelas and remakes, "Conker: LIve and Reloaded" and "Perfect Dark: Zero" were not so enjoyable.

We'll just have to see what happens with "Vivi Pinata"

I think back in the N64 days Nintendo had better quality control and think Rare benefited from their input. Nowadays with all this shovelware on the wii it really makes me sad.
