you can get it on craigslist sometimes for as little as $5, sometimes even less. I picked it up for $3. It all depends on who is selling, and how much you buy.

WASNT THERE MARIO WITH A SCREWDRIVER BEHIND ALL NINTENDO *beep*
TAKE IT TO A REPAIR SHOP OR SOMEONE WHO CAN FIX IT
IM PRETTY SURE THEY DONT HAVE AN INTERNAL BATTERY OR SOME *beep*
WHAT I DONT UNDERSTAND ABOUT BATTERIES THAT ARE USED AS MEMORY OR SOME *beep* IS WHY NOT MAKE A PORT TO CHARGE THEM
SO INSTEAD OF THEM LASTING A YEAR IF YOU PLAY EXTREMELY OFTEN THEY LAST FOREVER IF YOU PLAY EXTREMELY OFTEN
THE WAY IT SHOULD BE.

Owwwwww... That hurt the ears. Here's a tip - there's a button on the left side of your keyboard (if you use a qwerty, anyway) that says 'Caps Lock'. Instead of using it for the ENTIRE message, just capitalize only the KEY words in a sentence.

Oh, and R.I.P. GoldenEye. Mine went missing not long ago, so I can sympathize.

I think the OP was saying RIP to his ORIGINAL copy :)
I'm sure he's gotten it again by now, but it's like a first car breaking. It will never be the same even if you got a clone of it :P

@ OP, just get the emulator (Project64, http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/n64/project64.html ) for the pc and play it on that ;) ... you still need to find the rom file which i cant tell you where there at cause my post will get deleted but lets just say google is a good thing ;)

even though i 'remember' goldeneye on n64 as one of the best games on that system and i have alot of memories from it (from back when it first came out)... to be honest, when playing it lately it's really not THAT GREAT from what i remember about it.

in other words my advice to anyone who has Nostalgia about it is dont play it again recently and expect to have similar experiences from it cause you will almost for sure be disappointed... but i still did not mind firing it up as it was still a decent experience mainly for the memories.

p.s. i think the old school 2d mortal kombat games stood the test of time MUCH better than GoldenEye on N64 did cause the Mortal Kombat games (mainly MK3/UMK3) are still fun to play to this day, especially against another person.
