The Facility cheat anyone here get it.

The time they give you for that level seems impossible has anyone got it and if you did what was it like completeing it.

i 100%' the game it took me months, many blistes on my thumbs and lots of controllers but it was well worth it in the end

the feeling of completing a level after weeks of constant trying has been unrivaled for me in any game since

It’s been awhile, but I remember it took me a few goes that’s for sure. I seem to remember just run and gunning with short bursts from the assault rifle. When you reach the long, tubular hallway with 3 guards and glass windows on either side, toss a remote mine at them and press AB together to blow quickly. I generally restart if the scientist is not in either of the 2 rooms off the tubular hallway.

Don’t worry, because when you got to set the bombs in the chemical room, look down as far as you can go and drop them BETWEEN the cylinders (don’t plant them on the cylinders themselves) – this will prevent the mines bouncing. Quickly lure Alec out of the way (he’ll be still yapping at you) then AB them. Just leave out the door after this – no need to wait for the reinforcements.

There is a way to move faster which is helpful with getting all cheats, especially on the harder levels. What you do is strafe and move forward (or backward) at the same time. You’ll be travelling vertically and will definitely notice a speed gain. This method is the ONLY way to beat the times for ‘Facility’, ‘Statue’, ‘Archives’ and ‘Streets’ on 00. Works great in multiplayer also – careful though, your friends will catch on and try it too.

I did it slightly differently. I would usually just skip the tubular hallway rooms and go straight for the lab near the room with the gas cylinders. If Dr. Doak wasn't there I would start over. Whenever I went into either of the rooms in the hallway a whole bunch of guards were waiting for me outside by then. If I got into the lab quickly enough the guards stopped following me.

Excellent advice, and as you say it is an essential technique for getting the cheats.

I do seem to remember it made you move disgonally, though. Not vertically ;)

I just earned it a few days ago. One good strategy is to use a remote mine to take out the three guards in the first console room. Just throw a mine on the wall outside of the room and activate it while getting the key. It took me a while to place the mine correctly; if it's too close, then the console will be destroyed. I also always quit if Dr. Doak wasn't in the final laboratory.

I beat it, you have to avoid direct confrontation with guards and hope Dr. Doak is in the very last hallway with all of the scientists. If not, you're screwed. Hope that helps.

The last cheat I got was Water Caverns, and that took me a few months after getting everything else. I remember using a remote mine to kill the people in the door control machine room in Facility. You pretty much have to pray that Dr Doak is in the part just before the final room.
