Get Peter Fonda some Prozac!

I absolutely love the Thomas books, tapes and CDs (especially the now-hard-to-find Ringo versions) but this movie bore no relation to the original source. And Peter Fonda's brooding over a locomotive? Give him Prozac and get him out in the sunshine!

Also, the fact that "kids liked it" doesn't mean it was a successful attempt. Kids would have still it if it has been a better movie.

I totally agree, while the movie wasn't for me,my son loves it,but Peter Fonda was walking through the movie like he was stoned, maybe it was the after effects of Easy Rider.I never understood the fascination with Peter Fonda,he's clearly not as talented as the other Fonda's and this movie proved it.put some oomph into it man!!!!!

Judging from the monotone delivery of his dialogue all through this movie, I'd wager that Peter Fonda was ALREADY on some pretty heavy Prozac during filming...
