I think that's a fair prediction. After all, she gave him that demon possessed kiss at the end of the movie. Seriously slow that part down when you watch, it's terrifying.

End of her senior year sounds good. Even though he was supposed to have more character and "brains" than the other students, he struck me as being just as superficial as the football players and cheerleaders he disliked at the beginning of the film.

He may have been a talented musician, and have genuine affection for Torrence, but he didn't strike me as the "settling down" type.

Lol. I would guess the kiss scene was not reharse that way. At least the actor's reaction seems genuine.

But to answer your question, there's an alternate ending where we see that Torrance and Cliff attend the same college and they are still dating.

On the DVD there is a deleted scene that shows them in college together (along with Isis who's on the same cheerleading squad as Torrance). So I suppose the writers planned to have it last at least through the summer and into their first year of college

Probably not long. Cliff will have another bitchfest about something and will refuse to speak to her and that'll be the end of it.

Realistically speaking, they would most likely break up that following summer after graduation once Torrance came to her senses and realized they have little in common and how condescending and judgmental he is.

The only reason she hooked up with him to begin with is because she was an emotional wreck and going through things. Otherwise, she'd still be with her cheerleader boyfriend.
