Did your high school have male cheerleaders?

I know a guy who asked to join at my school and the cheer coach said no lol. I don't know why though, it seems like it should be allowed.

No, but my friends' private universities did.

I don't believe so. But a few years ago I was a photographer's assistant at a high school cheer leading competition, and there were male cheer leaders. Even more surprising where the ones at christian schools. Yes it was a co-Ed team too.

I had only one gay guy join and the school made a huge deal about it, not because he's gay but they didn't know what to do with just one guy.
