Underrated.

In pure fun factor, this game beats all. Its THE game that serves as the model for all others today. One of Nintendo's finest accomplishments.

I agree that Mario 64 is

One of Nintendo's finest accomplishments.

However, this game was definately NOT underrated. Look up on the Internet some reviews of Mario 64. It was was rated quite highly, and the game lived up to its hype. The flaws Mario 64 has were that it didn't offer enough challenge (a lot of variety though) and there was not much replay value. These two complaints are actually used against a lot Shigeru Miyamoto's work, even though his work is high on quality.
