I don't understand ... a Super Mario 64 emulator?? You sure you're not playing Super Mario 64 on an N64 emulator?? Regardless, if it's on your PC then I assume you are using a keyboard. It's not impossible, I managed to do it, you just have to time the keys right. ;)
sharewhat i did is swing till it was top speed, but dont stop to aim. you have to time right to hit it. hope this works.
