I remember this game used to get me so upset, I broke two controllers over the years. I still haven't beaten this game yet, which is one of the few. I had created a new started a new game file, and but stuck on some of the stars. SOme of the levels seem downright impossible, like collecting 100 coins in some levels without loosing,
One of the problems is, the controls are too sensitive, and I know a lot of people will defend this, so I take a risk by saying this.
One of my friends who is a guy, (when we were a lot younger), said it was because I was a girl, how lame, yet he couldn't get it either, I laughed so hard at that. He's is not like that anymore.
One example is, trying to collect all the coins or even the red coins (which I don't think I have succeed) in the tower in the sky (you know the hidden level in the entrance, where you stand on the middle of the floor and loom up?)
Another one, is walking of a narrow steep edge, and I would seem perfectly straight on it, then out of no where, Mario falls. (WHOA! ehhhhhhh!) I had a lot of that, so much I got tired of it. Now, I laugh at it.
I will create a new game file and and do each level in order, and maybe look at a walkthrough.

Rainbow Ride is pretty tough. Hardest of the 100 coin levels I reckon. I love this game though. One of my favorites. I used to be able to do speed runs for this one though I doubt I could do very well these days. All 120 stars, no cheating, no exploitations of glitches, just good solid play. Record time was maybe 4 Hours 15 Minutes, something like that. Loads of fun!

I had trouble at the start, only because I began the level by flying to the right, and began collecting red coins from there. The red coins are aligned in such a way where you have to fly left and begin collecting. From there, going counter clock-wise, you'll be able to collect all 8 during 1 flight, since the pairs of red coins get lower and lower.
We've met before, haven't we?
