dance routine

Having watched this movie last night i became curious. the dance routine performed in the club, does this kinda thing really happen? In the uk people just dance any odl style but in lots of American teen movies there seem to be a lot of set routines. Is the just made up for the movies or do people actually dance set pieces in clubs?

I wondered about this too. Also, do you know where the dance scene was shot (which club)?

Haha, that dance was choreographed. That's not what usually happens.

That whole scene reminded me of She's All That. At least in that movie Usher's character says something like, "time for that dance I taught you".
