Was anyone else offended by this whole "conversion" episode? I am a Christian and I have NEVER heard of what the heck was going on here to stop someone from being gay. I am so sick Christians being portrayed this way. It just seems as if everything else in the world we need to have tolerance for, but it is ok for people to bash Christians or God. Rape is wrong, period! Curative intercourse absolutely insane!
shareYes, I was highly offended by it. I just now submitted a review of the episode to the IMDB site, entitling it "Utter Rubbish," because that's what the whole premise was. I think that because we now once again have a President who respects religious rights, the writers were desperately trying to find a way to make religious freedom look bad, and this was their response. I'd mercifully forgotten that not too many seasons back they had a horrendous multi-part story about a sex-trafficking ring being run through a church. But this episode was a new low!
(By the way, this was not actually the season finale. You might want to update your title and just call it "Conversion," instead. Next week's show will be about a hate crime against Muslims. Want to bet that it will have many positive things to say about Islam, even though they had absolutely nothing positive to say about Christians this week?)
@brimfin I changed it thank you. I would not be surprised if there have been fake Christians running those type of places. Key word.. FAKE. The fact that they addressed it as something that is a real thing with real Christians is infuriating! But the Bible speaks of these days.

You're right, Christians are complaining about negative stereotyping but fundamentalist, homophobic fanatics exist in real life, you can't pretend that they don't just because you find it offensive.
@earl237 You are absolutely correct. Fanatics of every type are out there. I guess my offense was making it as if all Christians are like that.
