The precious Russian icons of Christ in Teddy's flat

I was duly impressed with the exquisite Russian Icon art work that Teddy Bass (Ian McShane) had hanging on his walls in his flat. I wonder if Ian McShane had something to do with that nice touch. I recall a Lovejoy episode in which he cherished Russian icons of Christ of the same period. I loved his "divvy" (divination) talent as Lovejoy in which he could determine if an art piece were of genuine quality merely with his bare eyes. At any rate those pieces were in exquisite good taste, but then again his character here, Teddy is an unusually sophisticated criminal despite his lower class language. So it's not a stretch of the imagination that he'd own such treasures.
