A wasted opportunity

I finally got around to watching this movie last night after having the DVD sitting shrink wrapped for years.
Ben Kingsley is superb in his portrayal of Don Logan.
The rest of the cast are very good too.
However when we got to the end of the movie I found myself saying "what was all that about". It really felt like an unfinished story with a lot of very weak plot points. I still enjoyed it but feel like I wanted more out of the story.
I'm having one of those strange morning after the movie moments where I'm not sure if it was great or not :-)
Although I do find myself talking Don Logan style all morning...am I kant...am I. Message board. IMDB...typing a review. Review what? Review me? Don't fackin' dare you kant. Cheeky bastard.
