Just watched this awesome movie again last night. One question: obviously Don and Jackie had sex at one point. I didn't quite catch from the movie whether she was with Aitch at the time (Don said it was about three years prior). Also, obviously Aitch didn't know about Don and Jackie, which I took as more leverage that Don had with getting Gal to do the job.
Aitch was a wimp and it wouldn't surprise me if Don had his way with Jackie after their marriage. Don would regard it as both a conquest and a way of having something over both of them, embarrassing the cuckholded husband.
shareWhen Don and Gal are in the bar, Don asks Gal what Jackie is doing with Aitch. While brief, their conversation suggests to me that Jackie and Aitch became a couple subsequent to Don's one intimate encounter with Jackie. Aitch is not a tough guy, but he makes Jackie laugh.
shareI really loved Aitch. If I were retired in Spain I would think s guy like Aitch would be really fun to have around. He's funny and ultra laid back. I was sorry to see the actor who played Aitch died shortly after the release of S.B.
Smoking marijuana, eating Cheese Doodles, and masturbating do not constitute 'plans' in my book!
