Morgan Freeman's Favourite Film

Not sure if this has been brought up here before but just thought I'd let you all know.

The other day I was flicking through a book in Waterstones and it was a collection of celebrities talking about their favourite film and Morgan Freeman named this as his.

As much as I love this film, I cannot see that?!

Cool regardless

That's a surprising claim but it does validate the fact that this film isn't 'total rubbish' as many haters put it. Mr. Freeman's one of the most highly respected actors in the business, and it's great to hear that he enjoys MR.

Sure people may claim one can be talented AND still have terrible taste, but I think that's just desperation talking.

That is indeed, surprising. I would've expected him to have a well-made, coherent film as a favorite.

Good to know Mr. Freeman has more class and taste than some of the haters here :)

Do you remember the name of the book? It sounds interesting.

Was he actually talking about this film and not the one in 1952?

Even the greats make mistakes. Al Pacino was in Gigli. Dustin Hoffman and Robert DeNiro were in Little Fockers. Elizabeth Taylor appeared in three episodes of General Hospital.
