They obviously add some of the boys street dialogue later

I remember watching this show with friends like 5 years ago. They have that segment where the Man Show Boy is talking to people on the street, and every once in a while it would end with him saying something really funny, usually as the person was walking away. My friends would be like, "I can't believe that kid comes up with that stuff!" Give me a break, he doesn't. Older, adult writers come up with funny lines, record the boy saying them later, and dub them into the segments as though he actually thought it up, right then and there. You can tell when it happens. First of all, that kid wouldn't be able to come up with that stuff. Second of all, it sounds a little different. Third of all, you never see his face when he says the extra-funny, above his head stuff. And finally- did you ever notice that when he says really clever things, the people he says them to have no reaction? They just keep walking away or say something unrelated, as though he didn't actually say anything. Which he didn't.

Actually a lot of the time you do see him saying pretty crazy stuff to the person and the person actually reacting in shock. I doubt he came up with it though. It's probably like a lot of the other shows like Letterman or sometimes on Jamie Kennedy or Punk'd when there is some kind of ringmaster behind the scenes feeding the kid lines through a headset. The kid could have been wearing a tiny headset beneath some of those hats or fake wigs they had him in (like when he was dresses as a girl scout with pigtails ... just saw that again tonight).

Does anyone know who that kids is, anyway? I keep thinking it's Andy Milonakis when he was younger but I'm certain I'm wrong.

reply

I thought it was Jimmy's boy.

reply

Andy Milonakis was like 25 years old when this was filmed

Now why didn't sdfe89 think of that?
F-kin duh!!

Actually if you look at my original post I said the audio during his extra witty comments sounds a little different, you don't see his face, and people don't react to it. So he's not wearing a headset, his comments are added during post production. F-kin duh!!

What show have you been watching? From what I've seen... they do react.

I have noticed too there are some scenes where you can see his is not saying anything but you here him say something and it sounds a little different, sounds like they are dubbing things after they get the footage they want.
