Parker's accent?

Does anybody know what sort of accent Parker had throughout the movie? It sounded like something from the eastern U.S., but I'm not sure. Any ideas?

Thanks!

I think it was alpacino-ish.

I would say it was none-too-bright east coast city-dweller. I'd say Philly, I've known a more than a few people from there that speak in a similar style, but I have never been to the place itself so I can't say for sure. MAYBE New York, but not in the old timey Brooklyn style. Or it could be nothing at all.

Part Boston, part Terminator, part Al Pacino in Scarface, part actor who probably shouldn't try to do accents.

Ryan Phillipe is from near Philadelphia, so I'm guessing it's a Philly accent

Interesting tidbit... According to an Ain't It Cool News guy who interviewed McQuarrie, he sounds exactly like Phillippe in this movie.
