Ryan's accent

So, I listened on the internet to two different radio interviews with Ryan this morning. Both sets of DJ's from two different cities wouldn't even talk about the reason he was being interviewed, which is his new film MacGruber until they had enthusiastically praised TWOTG. Ryan responded both times that it is his favorite film of those he's made and that every time he meets a rapper, a pro athlete or a man in the armed service, that they are great fans of TWOTG. (Hey, Ryan, we here at IMDb are great fans too.)

But here's the point, one of the DJ's asked him about his accent for Parker. He said it was based on a friend of his from Baltimore. There you go. Case closed.

"I'd never ask you to trust me. It's the cry of a guilty soul."

Baltimore..... Does that have anything to do with the constant Baltimore references in the movie? The plot thickens...

I can promise you a day of reckoning that you will not live long enough to never forget.

Interesting. I have not seen the film with commentary in a number of years. I do not believe that McQuarrie had a definite answer about it. I think McQuarrie just says that Phillippe showed up with the accent but did not give its origins.

Dalton and Craig! Accept NO substitutes!
