First of all, this isn´t just another teen movie (anyway you put it... LOL) if you find yourself stuck only in the romantic side you are missing all the fun like:

1.- The magnificent plot of Floyd and the statue
2.- Ashley caracther quote about the tigers spots, or Bryan Ryan, or the barkrain
3.- The joyful, idiotics comments from Chris like the one with the shirt in the fair
4.- The courage to performance the accordion song infront all the school (I just felt like in highschool)
5.- And so other many things that you could figure it out (it depends from your point of view...)

So please stop showing your ignorance and celebrate that this is one of a kind, cute teen movie to spend just a little time out from the obviously lack of values in this brave new world...

By the way if you like this movie you must see: Madhouse with Kristie Alley Hilarious, stupid and it surely shows the many lives of a hatred cat...

Amazing movie for all of those reasons and more! To this day, my friends and I can look at each other and say "I love you Bryan Ryan" and burst out laughing. I'll admit, we were 14 when it first came out so I'm sure that accounts for a lot of our love for this movie.

You also can't forget about the sex-talk assembly.

I admit I also always got a kick out of that scene when he walks away and she yells "I love you Bryan Ryan"..........

for what it was i thought it was pretty good.........very enjoyable

I loved this movie. I thought the assembly at school on safe sex was simply hilarious.

The word "genius" isn't applicable in football. A genius is a guy like Norman Einstein.

I've seen a lot of teen movies from lots of eras. This is a QUALITY teen movie. Good script, nice performances.
