Was this an 'ABC Afterschool Special' ?

Back in the mid '80's, my tenth grade Health class teacher showed us a movie about a shy teenage boy who fell in love with a shy teenage girl. I don't remember much about the story other than the girl's name was Phoebe, and when the boy would talk to her, he would praise her beauty and say: "Phoebe, the goddess of the moon."

The same teacher showed us "Dinky Hocker", and I know for a fact DH was an "ABC Afterschool Special".

All help will be appreciated.

No. That's not it. There isn't a girl named Phoebe in that particular episode.
