Help, trying to find this one

I'm not absolutely sure it was an afterschool special, but it involved a girl in high school who wanted to be popular (go figure). She has short kinda punk hair and buys a pair of those skin tight satin pants that were so popular and gains a lot of attention. A bunch of kids go up to the hills, she gets drunk and goes to sleep in the back of this jock's car (the guy she has a crush on) and ends up sleeping with him, thus assuming they will now be a couple. Of course he wants nothing to do with her after & I believe she ends up finding out she is pregnant. When she tells him he says he has friends that will also swear to being with her. I can't remember if she has an abortion, kills herself or moves on.

Does any of this ring any bells with anyone?

Oh my goodness! Was that what a After school special was, back in the day. W0, that's scary. I want to see all.of these now.

It's a CBS Afternoon Playhouse episode called "I Think I'm Having a Baby". It starred Jennifer Jason Leigh and aired in 1981. She ended up not being pregnant. Funny because two years later she played a girl who got pregnant and got an abortion in Fast Times at Ridgemont High.
