Ratings when cancelled

It really annoys me that this amazing show got cancelled in 2002 for averaging 3 million viewers in the US. Considering that many similar shows (such as Arrow and Beauty & The Beast) get renewed with the same or even lower ratings. Anyone agree?

Yeah it's stupid but then again those were different times. Now a days everyone torrents or stream shows for free, back then that number was considered low since almost everyone owned a television with cable and was the number one source they viewed shows on. Now a days, 1 million is considered doing extremely well since there are other methods people use to watch shows. :/

I found this show due to Star-Crossed. Not bad, wish it continued or Star-Crossed reeled in more views.

Well, Roswell was totally more believable in plot than Star-Crossed (though, that says a lot, because Roswell was not overly deep).

The military, people, ect acting the way they did from aliens landing in public and everything after that? I am sorry, but I can't see that happening at all. We aren't 1940's white racist and the aliens aren't the black people anymore. At least they thought the blacks were inferior.
But to mistreat and judge a race who is obviously much farther along than you, out of spite? Perhaps for defense, and being extra alert. But being racist for racist sake is stupid. Bully the dragon much?

Roswell, the hybrids, being half-human, being exiled leaders. At least that made sense, and was intriguing (although, I wish they executed it better, and finished more of that story).
