Season 3 is not that bad

I finished all three Eps and to tell you the truth, is not that bad, season 2 had more problems then season 3.

Anyways its funny that all the cast members including guest all had braces.....

Personally I loved all 3 seasons. The only disappointment in season 3 was that UPN reduced the season to 18 episodes, which resulted in the season ending too abruptly. Of-course it is even more disappointing that they cancelled the show full stop.

It had some good episodes like "Samuel Rising" and "I Married an Alien" which was also one of the best episodes in the entire series but overall it was a very disappointing and bad season. It felt like it had no subplot whatsoever and just kept dragging. Not to mention some terrible choices like giving Max the ability of switching bodies or to Liz alien powers. She can even see the future in the final episode! LOL. I know the ending came a few episodes earlier than it should have but I seriously doubt it would've done much difference even if it didn't. They screwed it up pretty good.

Liz having "powers" was and has been hinted at more or less all the way around in part due to the "connection"/love between her and Max. Have, more or less my own ideas re Liz and her having them.

!, Max really opening up to her right from the start and being each others "soul mates".

Why didnt she have powers when future Max came back, some would ask, well, still connected but may have but just not strong enough so not mentioned, but think main reason is, will type out but want to type this first.

They did stop the Skins from getting another 50 yrs or so, as Tess would have already left when Max an Liz were originally going to be together, but also think that the Skins would have taken care of the "blue crystals"/gandariam as it would have destroyed them to, and yes because Tess was more Alien than them, (grew up and was taught to be by Nasado and her "not knowing" think was crap, to deceive the rest).

So they meet the doubles and Max and Tess in NY, Ava wanted to stay, mainly because she really had no one as her Max/Zan was murdered by the other 2 and she feared the same but good thing stayed as

2, Ava tells Liz she is diff as Max saved her and so Lix taps into that something because as scared as she is, she loves Max (connection), to warn Max that his life is in danger.

3, sorta goes with 1 and could be before 2, When Max and Liz are together kissing, both keep themselves "open" so a real flow is between them, goes with what Nasado says that the 2 pairs are meant to awaken the well alien parts and dreams, but Max, was already doing this with Liz before Tess came along.

4, Max re heals Liz, which is I think, why she has visions and is able to "throw" Tess with much more focus.

There is bits more but that is the main part.

Max "switching" bodies, more or less ok with, as cant heal natural old age death causes (Liz's Grandmother couldnt be but was able to say a sweet good bye), but as he could do nothing and have Valenti die (others too poss), so completely focused his life/essence/soul (did not know that he could) so in that sense sorta made an ok sense to me, or at least explainable.

But do not think Kyle or his dad too, as was saved, so he should have also left town too as Kyle thinks he will "buzz and crackle" so be with his own kind...naaa no love or connection to Max, those children too will not get powers either as again no connection to Max.

The 3rd season, not bad, but ya as they were cut short, wish they could have had the 2 hr ending, same with season 2, but didnt, so ya was not quite the same but have my own follow up story(ies) that so far do seem to end last month, and so far dont know if will have more, but think maybe done. hmmm got "wordy" didnt I

Well, imho the show took a wrong turn halfway in S1,changed
gears for S2 and got full blown soup in S3.
If the actors wouldnd have teamed up that well, the show wouldve
been dead way earlier.

Season 3 had some good eps. I thought the Samuel Rising was good and Ch-Ch-Changes. But the two issues fans had was 1) Isabel and her getting married to Jesse and 2) The other focus being Max looking for his son. The fans didn't care for either ,but it was most of the season. There was an allure Roswell had an in season 1 that was lost by the time it came to season 3, especially for the above two reasons. It was hard to enjoy the season for that.

What a day! What a lovely day!

It was so bad it was embarrassing. The first few episodes in particular are cringeworthy. Max with stupid highlighted hair and a convertible and wearing that ridiculous leather jacket in every scene to try and make him look like a rebel, Liz suddenly wearing a chola ponytail, eyeliner and hoop earrings and black clothes and a totally unconvincing sullen expression for the same reason. It read like a satire of clichés.
The Clayton Wheeler plot was utterly unconvincing, Max and Isabel's squinty-eyed dad randomly going obsessed stalker FBI-wannabe on his own children and apparently the entire town too was annoying, and who the hell cares about Maria's record deal or Jesse 'deus ex machina' Ramirez and his stupid gurning face and marital issues??
Roswell should've ended with the season 2 finale, like half of the cast wanted it to. The only good points of S3 were the Christmas episode, Tess's return and maybe a couple of scenes with Liz at boarding school which were entertaining.

The mirror... it's broken.
Yes, I know. I like it that way. Makes me look the way I feel.
