Wow so season 3....

really has been ruined by Isabel. I watched this show when it originally when I was around 11 or 12 at the time. I most remembered seasons 1 and 2, though I did see season 3 as well. This past week or so I have been rewatching the entire series over Netflix for the first time in 15 years, and I have made it to season 3 and omg......way way way too much of the Isabel character. I really quite frankly do not care about her character at all, and it's annoying how she's shoved down your throat this season. I don't see the point of the heavy coverage on her marriage. It feels forced. I really wish they would have focused on the characters we actually care about.

I'm on the X max episode and Isabel is really so grating I'm not even sure if I can finish the season....

You can thank Katherine Heigl for that. She wanted more attention on Isabel and that's exactly what we got.

I like Katherine Heigl, heck she's the reason I started watching this great show in the first place!

I didn't mind that there was more of her, I just didn't like what we got. I didn't care about her rushed marriage at all. Jesse didn't fit in at all. If anything Isabel and Kyle should has been a thing. Also I would have liked to know more about her past life this season. Maybe if that explored that...Isabel has a great backstory and they decided that adding in a rushed marriage was more interesting!

During its original run, I remember a lot of us fans were pretty ticked at the HEAVY Isabel focus in season 3. I believe what made the show strong was the ensemble cast; the pod squad with Valenti and Maria, Liz, etc. It made the show, with the basis of the show being Max and Liz-because thats when it all started, when he saved her. What made it worse is that Isabel had Alex's ghost give her his blessing to be with Jessie, which a lot of Alex/Isabel fans felt was salt in the wound after his character was killed.

Despite a few episodes, that is my least favorite season. One is probably my favorite.

Didn't get the ick so much on original watch but binging it now....ugh.
I fast-forward so much. I know KH and her beastly mom are demanding on every TV they are on.
Her marriage/story grated, as did the military junk that came up and Max "dying."

Real LOSERS spell 'loser' looser!

I didn't mind the Jessie/Isabel story, it just bugged me at how much focus it took from the show and the other characters. It kind of became the Isabel show for awhile and she was never the heart of the show
