has this been "talked" about...spoilers here

I know have mentioned it in the past either in review or somewhere, just not sure and being forgetful at the moment (stressed out right now and re watching Roswell and Star Trek TOS with apt the same film locations for some, to try and de stress). But anyhow...

Really is interesting that no one, Liz as even though just high school science, would think it strange that the earths atmosphere being toxic to an unborn baby would be nonsense as the baby is not in the atmosphere, so unless its toxic inside the womb, then Tess would/should have dropped dead, because its her on the outside in the "atmosphere".

Valenti, as an adult and having had a child, ya ok he did not give birth, but would no that any unborn child is only in the womb not outside where the atmosphere would affect it...but then the whole of her deliberately doing all she could right from the beginning to get Max to have sex with her so she could get pregnant.

Though unless she can make sure that she has a son, as was told to have Max/Zan's son and bring to Antar, would she have done something if was a girl, or tried again then, well, then say that because the child is male "toxic atmosphere"...?

Another thing am wondering about, the "armed robbery", as there is no gun to find, and well, cant be found, as now apart of the car, after Max is let go by the court, they say Liz voice and such matches the person holding the gun, but no gun. So when with the new lawyer, though question that as he says plea mentioning the gun, Liz could say what gun, "there is no gun so why would I plea out that I had a gun" (as said, any lawyer defending oneself would not be saying to admit to something that cant be found, that and a few other things).

Why admit to a gun that can never be found, knowing that was not loaded and that that (this should also have been pointed out in court and that lawyer too could have used that info to not plea, well re money) they did not ask for anything like money from till, just told him to stay down, as most/all who rob say empty till and cancer sticks also seem to be asked for when robbing but well, guess then there would not be as much to have Liz "forbidden" to see Max and him moving out of his home...

Hmmm guess I is just "talking" to me self with just typing out diff thoughts about...guess should also do this from the beginning of series and maybe sorta have but well this time was/am watching epis with someone else and started with season 2 and now season 3.

Just more thoughts re healing, and quite diff from the first time Max, (hmm another thought, Max had never healed a life/death wound before Liz, which could also be another reason why she, well my opinion, will be the only one who ever has any real powers who was completely human), but healed Jessie's broken nose, but still healing.

Then there was the young autistic boy, Samuel, who is not dying or hurt or sick, as autistic is within the mind beyond what we see, special, and just different, but then I think we as humans are all different, as not one is the same, and there is nothing wrong with that, its what makes the world and us who we are. We all see things diff, and can agree to disagree, and its also human nature that we wont always get along, but if we all got rid of those we dont care for or like or just disagree with, human kind would no longer be. Could add a lot more, but think have already been quite "wordy and preachy".

Max, did not need to heal anything within Samuel, he just wanted first his parents to "know" their son and for Samuel to be able to communicate with his mom and dad, so used his powers on Samuel, but then Issy was able to do what Max could not...hmmm what Max did was diff than other times, Samuel, my thinking, could be the only other human to remotely have any kind of power. Wonder if anyone else would think this re Samuel ?

Done for now, and to anyone who actually reads any/all my run on "wordy" thoughts, thanks for reading and hope they did make a bit of sense, till next time I add on

When Max re heals her, he uses the healing stones to amplify his powers. Yes she had already developed the power to heat/start fires before, that and, repeating from earlier, she had already tapped into something to reach and warn Max, so there was that. Then when she finally "breaks" with his having sex with Tess and getting pregnant, and more or less tells him off for hurting her as he is amplifying his healing powers, and she is elevated, he says trust him, she is "I cant" and her powers "kinda blast him away" and as she has no control over them, keeps him at a distance, but with this amplified healing, she then develops the visions from this, or at least will have more and better control over and be more "hybrid", like Max, Izzy and Micheal, oh ya, Ava, as out of the 8, she is the last alive, as Tess killed the other 2, as those 2 killed Zan the Max double, well least that is my thinking re only Ava as the only one left from the NY 4.

It was Liz who "brought back Max", their connection/love that saved Max's life after he "died" by putting his "all" (essence, life an soul...) to keep Valenti alive as they would have killed him if Max did not "save" Clayton from dying a natural death.

Kinda interesting that no one realized that it was Micheal that in the end saved Izzy's life, or at least no one mentions it on the show.

The Michael thing was fairly obvious (watch Who Died and Made You King).

Just watch a season 1 epi 14, Blind Date with a friend. 1 thing more in my thinking of why only Liz will have any powers. Max drunk on very small amount of alcohol and not sobering up. Only when he an Liz kiss, connection, does it completely wear off, healing.

In season 1 healing was not just a Max thing, Micheal healed River Dog's leg, though in season 2, and this is another reason why think Tess was more alien (raised that way and knowing more than she ever let on on the show), healed Max's face.

We know the skins were powerful, killed Nasdo, so also know that Tess at the time she was "kidnapped" by Whitaker, in part she was hurt already so in no shape to even try to defend herself. She was able to "reach" Isabel for help, but was not so completely out of it that she could not hear all that was said re who is who, as really do think she already knew all but did not care, had her own agenda, one of the many small things that made me think she was more alien

It can happen. Not the atmosphere thing (though studies have never been done, for obvious reasons), but there are medical problems that can arise where the baby is affected negatively by things that don't adversely affect the mother. Look up Rhesus disease. Plus, Tess is half-alien. They had no prior hybrid pregnancy to go on, for all they knew, that was just how hybrid pregnancies worked.
I was more bothered by baby Zan being 'completely human' and Liz explaining it away as simply as: "You're half human, she's half human, it makes sense." No it doesn't! Genes aren't black and white like that, everyone is a genetic salad. If none of the alien genes were viable to be part of the pregnancy, then I don't think Zan would've been a healthy normal human baby, because Max and Tess weren't fully human. He would've had a bunch of chromosomes missing and stuff. But then I guess the hybrid pregnancy cover-all explanation applies there too.

The mirror... it's broken.
Yes, I know. I like it that way. Makes me look the way I feel.

I too was bothered about Zan being completely human as well!

My memory is very rusty about some of the show's details. I can't remember what exactly was said and I think it was in the episode "The White Room" from season 1 when Max was taken by the government, Agent Pierce explained to Max about what was alien and what was human about his genetic makeup. That the hybrids' skin, bones, and other things I can't remember were human. However, their blood (probably organs, plasma, and etc) was completely alien.

So how can Zan be completely human when something like Max and Tess' blood was alien with no strand of human DNA within it?

I can understand that the show probably wanted to show Max making a huge decision about saving Zan and that the only way they could write it in was making the baby completely human, or maybe no one remembered... but it still bothers me knowing that they already explained how they were hybrids.

If I missed something, my apologies, I haven't watched the show in a couple years.
