Frakes should NOT direct. The story/script needed work. And that actor playing the whatever FBI or something guy in charge, his name is something Conrad, GEEZ he was TERRIBLE! Maybe season 2 and 3 are bad according to fans, all these postings, but it got weak and messy in the first season! š
shareI think the biggest problem with the show as a whole was that there didn't seem to be any plan for where it was going as a series. The story just jumped all over the place. If you compare it to a show like Buffy, while there were both good & bad episodes, Joss Wheden had a multi-year plan for the story/characters and you could tell as it progressed. Either Jason Katims doesn't work that way or didn't have enough control of the scripts.
