shareHe's trying to filibuster a bill, only once he sits down can the vote happen and they can leave for the weekend. By the end of the episode, they realise he's right to try and stop the bill, but if he rests he gives up the floor and the bill can be voted on. They can see he's struggling because he's old and needs to rest so rally their side to go in and ask questions, which will allow him to sit without breaking the filibuster.
shareA moronic storyline.
The white house don't give a shit about autism until they find out he has an autistic grandson? What?
Why would that make a difference? You either care about the bill or you don't.
