like the 16th year or something. In the movie you can deffinitly tell that this kid is not 13 years old.

shareWhen the movie came out he was 17 but while the movie was being filmed he was 15. Movies are usually filmed a good eight months to a year before the movie is released. They have to do editing, voice looping, and music.
And it's not uncommon for actors to be younger/older than their characters. Just look at Tara Reid. She was in her late twenties (27) when her character in American Pie was 17 and 18 in the sequel.
