Do you think I will like it?

I am thinking about importing this DVD (I live in South Africa), but I've never seen it (not possible to get a hold of), and I'm not sure if I'll like it. I enjoy the films of Lars Von Trier (esp Golden Heart Trilogy) and Lukas Moodysson (Lilja 4 Ever), Susanne Bier, etc. I love dogme, deep emotional dramas and films that leave you stunned as the credits roll. I'm a filmmaker too.

What do you think the chances are that I'll enjoy it?

Based on the films you listed, I would say yes...

Personally I had a tough time liking it the first time watching it.
However, the last ten seconds saved the film for me, and I ended up buying the DVD eventually...

If you can get through Lija 4 Ever then yes Rosetta will be a great film for you to watch.

Not the kind of film you rec' to everybody. If someone told me they hated it I would understand. But it is very special.
