No longer releasing in 3D !

From a box office analysis standpoint, it made sense to re-release it theatrically since the likes of Lion King, Beauty & The Beast & Finding Nemo did pretty well during their re-release runs.

From a consumer/movie goer standpoint, I won't be shedding a tear...with today's movie prices and the fact that I already own it on Blu-Ray (which looks phenomenal BTW), I wasn't gonna waste my hard-earned $$$ taking my kids to the theater anyway!

EDIT: Oddly enough, I couldn't find any other article on this "cancellation"...I'd like to see at least one more source.
