This was the first movie to have the voice actors record their lines in the sound booth together. The actors in this case were Billy Crystal and John Goodman. John Goodman said that he would just sit there watching Billy Crystal talk a mile a minute saying things that would never be heard in a Disney movie, and try not to laugh.
John Lasseter said that they let John Goodman and Billy Crystal do this because of the great chemistry they had together. Not even the people of Toy Story recorded their lines together.
