Please tell me I'm not the only person who thought, for the last 10 years, that Mike Wizowski was played by Nathan Lane and not Billy Crystal. Watching a documentary recently, my illusion was shattered and it freaked me out!

Watching the movie right now, I completely agree how much they sound alike. But I can't say that I've thought that the last 10 years.

I thought it was Nathan Lane as well, until I came here and saw Billy Crystal.

I don't know how long I was convinced that Billy Crystal was the voice of Timon in "The Lion King."

i always knew it was billy crystal but I always think that mike sounds just like timon when I watch this. really similar voices.

The first time I watched The Lion King in English, I was sure that it was Billy Crystal who voiced Timon.
Although when I saw this last night I identified both Goodman and Crystal immediately, although it took me about half the movie to identify Steve Buscemi.
