"toxicity" of the children and the CDA

Does anyone notice that the entire CDA was set up to perpetuate the myth that children are somehow toxic? People wonder why the monsters are so superstitious, but clearly it is a way to control monster behavior, so they do not abuse the abilities of the doors like Randall did.

It prevents monsters from forming relationships with children, keeping the human and monster world separated. Can you imagine the opposite of Randall did, a Monster purposefully going into the Human world and establishing domination over them? I think I just figured out the plot to Monsters Inc 3.

Although, it is never really confirmed or denied if Humans indeed have some sort of toxic property to Monsters in this film. Yes, Mike and Sully appear to be fine, but we are not certain about the effects of long-term exposure to children.

Also, not much is known about the governance of the Monster world.
