I have been losing my mind trying to think of a show that took place in a department store. there was a mouse and mabey a manniquen (sp?) and a guy i think named Jeff. Is this it?

Yep, this is it. Jeff the Mannequin and Muffy Mouse. In my mind, the best family show to come from Canada. Let's hope that the suits gets wise and start putting it back out! Kids today would love this, and it holds such a wonderful place in the hearts of those of us who saw it first- and it brought generations together. It didn't make s want to bash their heads against a wall watching it like so many shows do today. It has a definite Jim Henson feel to it, and I would say the world needs things like "Today's Special" in this day and age. For all those who haven't signed the petition, please do so, and in addition if you feel so inclined, write to TVO and other places like Morningstar Entertainment (Canada), the guys who put out the 6 VHS tapes just a few years ago, to convince them they can'r lose doing this, and that there are many interesting cost-sharing opportunities to getting it rereleased as well. Let's just hope that if and when it comes back in some form, that it isn't sabotaged, again.
