Adult Swim really sunk to a new low now...

www.adultswim.com/schedule/index.html

Home Movies will move from 1:30 to 5am Sundays starting in January.

Not even Space Ghost C2C aired that late and they care about that show now less than Home Movies.

And just as I suspected, there will be MORE Family Guy reruns now that Futurama is gone. Talk about overkill.

Ugh. That's *beep* lame. I'm so sick of Family Guy.

Family Guy is really starting to suck! I wish that instead of showing that damn Oblongs show first they'd show Homies Movies first. I'd rather not spend my late summer vacation nights watching retarded shows just to watch the good ones.

And I'll get him back even as he gloats. In the meantime, I'll practice on less honerable throats!

Home Movies is boring. But yeah, I have to agree Family Guy is getting worse. They should just take off FG on Adult Swim rather than Oblongs. But they keep playing damn anime all the time. We don't wanna see anime (except for maybe fans)! We wanna see Futurama! Maybe some old episodes of Family Guy! And some episodes of The Oblongs will be nice, too.

#1-Oblongs is still on, albeit late. (Either on Sundays or weeknights)
#2-Old episodes of Family Guy (The Real old ones) are currently on weeknights
#3-Futurama is officially Comedy Central property now. They wouldn't had wanted it if Adult Swim didn't have it.

#4-Almost no anime airs on Adult Swim now, especially on weeknights
#5-HOME MOVIES isn't boring, you just don't get it.

Home Movies is amazing, not boring. It reminds me of when I was a kid, I love it. <3

Amazing? I HATE THIS SHOW! I've watched it for a long time on Adult Swim and I never got into it. To this day, I still never got into it.

The show was bad since the day it premiered. Every character in the show was stupid. And the plots were never original. Brendon was nothing but an immature kid trying to act cool. Coach McGuirk defines obnoxious and acts like an idiot. And Brendon’s friends? I couldn't have seen a more annoying group of people in my life. Like Melissa who always gives Brendon advice but never really helps him, I should've tried to slap her so she could talk straight, and Jason, he was so annoying I felt like I wanted to pull him out of the TV and smack his fat self so he can shut up. And Brendon’s mother, all she ever did was breastfeed Josie and complain throughout the show.

I'm glad that they barely play this show now. But they need to get rid of the anime and show some episodes of "Futurama", some older episodes of "Family Guy", and maybe some episodes of "The Oblongs".

They no longer own Futurama. That was the whole point of the marathon showing every single episode ever made. Comedy Central owns and shows it now at nine on weekdays.

As for you not liking it... I think you're just too young, and don't take that as condescending, because I used to feel the same way about the show. I hated it being on, thought it looked horrible. It was only within the last couple years when they ran through it again that I gave it a second chance and I finally could see the brilliant comedy for what it was. I was just too young at the time it first aired to truly understand it.

And they don't need to get rid of the anime. We only have one night now with anime, don't you suggest they take even that away from us!

"If you should need me, tap this staff three times on a wall."
"Magic?"
"No, it's just loud."

Old school AS is only on Friday nights but that something, and so agree with the family Guy it comes on like 50 different stations now.

In my opinion, I've had alot of friends who didn't like Home Movies, at first.

I think it was the animation that turned them off. They saw the way it was drawn and they instantly were turned off by it. But i pushed them to watch it and the more episodes they watched, the more they thought it was funny until they ended up loving the show. I've converted alot of people into loving the show. The thing is people have short attention spans nowadays, which is why Family Guy is so popular (even though it's crap after season three), not only are their spans short but people are more visual beings. Most people nowadays won't get Home Movies, but it's a brilliant show. Futurama is a great show, too.
