2 Years since Paula was last intimate??

I just watched the episode where Brendon's father Andrew takes him for the weekend and they go to the zoo and he tells him about his plans to marry Linda his girlfriend. Anyways, Paula invites them over for dinner and she states in a private conversation with Andrew that it has been two years since she was last intimate. How is this possible when she has a toddler that appears to be 18 months old at the most! Is the kid adopted or something??

Maybe she concieved Josie and split up with Andrew right after? It could happen.

josie is adopted. it gets mentioned at some point i think. even if she isnt' i dont think continuity is all that important on this show.

Maybe Mrs. Small did it with another character, which is probably why Josie is darker than Brendon.

josie being adopted is revealed in the episode "temporary blindness"

even if josie wasn't adopted. 18 + 9 = 27 = 2 years 3 months.

Good point. I can't believe it took 1 month and 7 posts later for anyone to realize there is 9 months between intimacy and birth. Bravo.
