Could Brendan be considered a savant?

Though we can't be sure Brendan is a totally impaired or incapable of learning, he does seem to have a focus problem in school. Yet when he applies himself to his movies he really does good, or at least as good as boy his age could be at acting and directing in films.

I don't know, just a thought. :)

I think he falls in the ADD category than the Savant category.

Racecar is the same backwards as forwards, Brendon.

Spend some time with some regular, BRIGHT 8 year olds. He's not a savant, just a bright kid who is wise beyond his years-- not that uncommon.

He's also an actual adult (or several) inside a kid character, if you want to look at it that way.

I'm 19, why would I want to spend time with regular, BRIGHT 8 years olds as you said? hah. That would just be odd.

I was merely making an observation and throwing an idea out there, no need for curt advice.

Brendan reminds me a lot of Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes. He's actually immensely intelligent, but doesn't put any of that into good use. Melissa and Jason all show moments of very high intelligence as well, they're just weird kids.
