recording software

I love this show. My mom got me the cool box set and I have been watching like 3 or 4 episodes a night. It is so funny. I want to be a voice actor. I have a copyright on a cartoon and will be getting adobe flash soon. Does anyone know what software they used to record the audio for the show? Like the voices and what not. I used to have sound forge. I found the serial online. I don't do stuff like that anymore. I would rather buy a program. I have windows 7 64 bit. I will be switching to Mac in like June. But, I will still have my windows PC. There is a cool mic on amazon for 99 something. So, when I get that and the pop filter, I will need some good software to record with.
