Ok so lets just be clear about this. Is it possible or not to pull your underwear out of your pants without taking your pants off?

Now, don't get me wrong, this is a serious question.

I only ask because its been done before Zoolander did it, in an episode of the Simpsons, Grandpa Simpson does it front of Bart and Lisa.

The writers of both Zoolander and The Simpsons couldn't just think something that bizarre up out of the blue could they? There has to be some sort of factual evidence, or at least an urban legend of some sort.

Anyone have thoughts?

And please, this is actually serious.

In the film they're both wearing briefs, which would not be able to come off without lifting the legs up and over the straps.

As a cheap illusion, he could have simply had the briefs under his pants but was not actually wearing them. If they did not verify first that he was actually wearing them, as they did not, it would then not be possible to prove he cheated.

rowan atkinson pulled it off in one of his mr been shows, well almost, as i recall he did it the other way around, he wantet to get some swiming trunks on so he put those on top of his long pants then he removed the pants.
