After Alex and Clear talk on the beach (after Lewton's death) and drive around with Carter and Billy, Death should have sent Godzilla over and step on the car, finishing all 4 survivors at once. Would have really been interesting!

Sure, except someone already used it for a 30 second cartoon where the credits are the real joke, Bambi Meets Godzilla.
