shareI don't think he was sleeping. He was just closing his eyes and then saw the premonition. In the premonition he isn't sleeping either, you see him sitting with his eyes closed when Todd's talking to the girls. That's most likely when he got the premonition. If he appeared to be sleeping they probably would've tried to wake him up first.
shareIt was how he came out of the premonition made it look like he was sleeping. All the other FD's have the main character's premonitions wide awake as the camera zooms out of their eye.
shareYes, there is a difference between the premonitions. But, personally, I don't think he was actually sleeping. It doesn't seem he had enough time to do that.
