Ms. Lewton's death was sad

Did her death just sadden you? She was struggling to get out the house and as soon as the piece of glass slit her throat she couldn't even speak. The knives fell into her and she looked so hopeless from that point to when Alex came into the house.

Not at all. Ms. Lewton was a selfish, whiny bitch. She blamed Alex for the accident, which was completely beyond stupid. She freaking insulted and yelled at the poor kid during the memorial.

And afterwards, she made the entire plane crash about herself. Yes, I understand she had a right to be upset. But she took it further. She was more concerned with her guilt about sending the other teacher back and the problems it caused HER than anything else.

Her death didn't sadden me at all. Carter was a more likable person than she was...and I am talking about before he stopped being a complete jerk.

reply

Not really. I felt really bad for those bimbos in Final Destination 3, cause that seemed like a really awful way to go.

I know some people on here are calling her a bitch for not believing Alex, but how many people honestly would believe him? If you don't remotely believe in the supernatural, who are you going to believe the kid who says he "saw" it happen or the FBI who think Alex is the number one suspect?

I don't think people are calling her a bitch for not believing Alex. We are calling her a bitch because she was treating Alex like it was his fault.

She had no reason to believe that Alex had caused it, because she was still being a bitch to him after it was proven to have nothing to do with him.

reply

Well, it was proven he hadn't physically and directly caused those deaths, but I think Mrs. Lewton felt there might have been a supernatural reason.

While I disliked the way she treated Alex, it can be explained by her feeling guilty and scared. Carter also acted like an ass looking for a fight because he was upset.

Nahh for me the sadest was tods, like he had ambisions and seemed like a generally nice guy for something like that to happen to

Pointing me out on spelling is just one hell of a poor argument..

reply

I hated the way she treated Alex, so I wasn't sad.

reply

She died because of her own self-entitlement and refusal to get help and solace from anyone else (specifically Alex). Her death scene wasn't sad for me at all; I was cheering death on for slaughtering that bitch.

They sucked his brains out!

She probably had the worst death in the movie. Although Todd and some of the people on the plane must also have suffered horrendously.

reply

I agree. It was very sympathetic character and was brutalized by death. You think it would end, but it got worse and worse for her.
